The Labor Code says an injured worker is entitled to medical treatment. Title 8 says utilization review has five working days to answer, on this form, or the denial does not stand. Panels argue about the second far more often than the first. Every section here carries the official text, and the count is how many released decisions applied it.

Reading a citation
A decision names these rules five different ways and means the same thing each time: AD Rule 9792.6, Administrative Director Rule 10208(a), 8 Cal. Code Reg. Rule 10945(a), Cal. Code Regs., tit. 8, § 10625, WCAB Rule 10450. All of them point into this file.
A bare “§ 35” in a workers’ compensation decision is almost always Labor Code section 35, not QME Regulation 35 — so a section is only matched here behind one of those phrases. It costs a few citations and avoids putting apportionment decisions on a page about the exchange of information.
Repealed sections stay listed and marked. A decision from 2019 applied the rule as it then stood, and removing the rule would make the decision unreadable.
